Will anyone get hit with a missile?
This race is at a reasonable time for us on the west coast. That might be the only nice thing I can say.
I'm making this halfway through Bahrain and Sainz has been feisty.
Discuss!

For all you can tell at Jeddah, the race is indoors down a long hallway. I hate that track.

If the Mercedes engines have to be detuned to compensate for the heat they will have almost no chance of catching the Red Bulls or Ferrari after this race.

Why are we having Thursday-Friday-Saturday events rather than Friday-Saturday-Sunday?

Why are we having Thursday-Friday-Saturday events rather than Friday-Saturday-Sunday? Ramadan starts Sunday. They want to complete the race weekend b-4 Ramadan starts

^^ Google is your friend. During Ramadan Muslims don't eat or drink from dawn to dusk. This goes on for a month. Kind of hard to celebrate a F1 race under those conditions. . Bahrain & Saudi are Muslim countries Easter lasts one day.

At least once in every Muslims lifetime they are supposed to go to Mecca in Saudia Arabia hajinformation.com/ to celebrate and since it takes a LONG time for most people to get there they get a whole month to celebrate and get back home again. It's kinda like Jewish people traveling to the Holy Land and the Wailing wall or Catholics going to see the Pope etc it's a VERY big deal for them.
