Albon will end up at Ferrari, Sainz at Audi and Zhou will be at Haas as he brings a lot of money. Bottas could go back to Williams if he sticks round.

As a sign of how mainstream F1 has become, even the Washington Post has a front-page (near the top of the web site) story about Lewis moving to Ferrari!

I mean Lewis who "does" fashion - moving to an iconic Italian brand, it's big news.

Lots of people saying they don't believe this is happening. I believe it. The way things have been going at Merc + all the stories/rumors already about Lewis talking to Ferrari had me thinking Lewis would either retire after his current contract or go Red. I really thought it would be the former though.
So who replaces Lewis? Albon? Alonso? How long is Piastri locked up? Where does Sainz land?
Gonna be interesting, too. That's Leclerc's team, and Lewis has been catered to as a #1 for his entire career minus a few races in 2007. Gonna be fun to watch when he thinks he's been screwed on race strategy, who goes first out of the pits, who gets what upgrades, etc. Can also see Merc favoring George over him this year.

It won't happen, but I want Palou at Merc. Also, I love to trash Hamilton, but lowkey my hottest take is that Ferrari had by far the best car in 2019, but fucked up so much strategy that it never appeared that way.

Hamilton x Ferrari mech alone makes it worth it if you think aren't winning championship 8. I fell asleep last season - was Ferrari better than Merc?

That's one thing that's funny about this to me. The problem at Ferrari isn't the drivers and hasn't been for decades.

It won't happen, but I want Palou at Merc. You'll get a Spaniard, but not that one.

He usually thinks he's been screwed on race strategy anyway, when he's losing.

Makes you wonder if he has driven the W15 in the sim and realized this car is bad
