Peacock. This season is the first time in probably 30 years I watched USA Network. I forgot it existed.

Correct, Toronto is Peacock Premium which requires a subscription unless you are a Comcast or Cox customer. NBC has pledged only THREE total minutes of commercials though during the actual race broadcast.

He's made it pretty clear he won't be at CGR next year.

Does Peacock allow streaming shows that aren’t live? I’ll be out of town and can’t record the race on a DVR.

Well, add me to the number of those who will not be watching this one. I'm not going to pay Peacock to watch Indy racing. I'll just watch some NASCAR and FIM World Superbike.

I luckily get Peacock for free, but think it’s dumb to have a race that is only available through streaming. It is the way of the future, but not the present. I’m totally fine with practice and qualifying being on Peacock, but not a race.

Are IndyCar ratings that bad that they have to resort to streaming?
Or are they trying to pull more money out of our pockets?
WE ARE NOT CUTTING THE CORD. We see the price of those streaming channels, and in no time we will be spending more on the channels we watch then we do now on cable. Just FloSports costs $30.00 a month. There’s a lot of racing there, some of it I would watch. But that’s ridiculous. You pay for a handful of Chanel’s and it’s already a lot more expensive than cable. No, that’s alright. We do stream Peacock, there’s a lot of good racing shows and sports and other content. My wife watches some of the shows too. But if they start jacking it up, we’re done with that too.
I love IndyCar but if they go the streaming route, I’m done. With the ratings dropping, I could see that happening.
