Well, maybe just Indy. Or maybe with another team?

We hope some other team will pick him up. Even if is Carlin or Juncos. And for a full-time season. If is not for "Cobra Kai" Ferrucci, Alonso and Bourdais would have been the best DCR "Dream Team". There is no word if "Tire... uh... Leg Sweeper" has made it official as DCR's 2nd driver.

Maybe he should have told the truth when he said the McLaren chassis was world class and the engine sucked.

It ain't cheap to go from Nolonso to Alonso.

Wait, 17 races all in one country is too many, and too much travel? But 20 races on five continents isn't? Or is he really afraid of running in a "spec" league takes away the security blanket of blaming poor performance on the dominance of Louie and his Merc?. Or is he afraid of learning new tracks? Or the talent level depth in IndyCar? That didn't bother Graham, Emmo, or Nigel.

My suspicion would be more on the ride quality than the schedule being an issue.

Yes, everyone here hates Alonso except me. I don't give a shit. Not everyone. He's a great driver, just really bad at career move choices.

I wonder who they're partnering with... 🤔 Bowtie? ECR? Carlin? Ganassi? 😮 Nobody. Zac Brown said they are doing it completely as McLaren. Plus, Ganassi is Honda and with Alonso, it will certainly be Chevrolet.

I saw Michael Andretti tweet and he said they are involved. McLaren may do it out of their own garage at Indy but they won't do it without a technical collaboration with Andretti Autosport (mainly shock and development pieces allowed per rules).

Honda said they cannot support any more teams. So no matter who it's with it'll be Chevrolet. It wouldn't be the first time a McLaren was powered by a Chevy...
