The world's greatest day of racing and day drinking will be here this week!!!!!!! Can Charles bounce back at his home track? Is Merc actually fast? Max is leading the championship. Apparently Indy has been lit as well for those of us who celebrate Racetivus. Discuss!!!! For those of you who care about my FSAE team, we didn't pass tech - which was v. tragic.  |

Our electronic throttle didn't pass tech because of ECU has a timing issue. We couldn't fix it in time to race. We can however run the car all summer to prep for next year. |

Do they follow NASCAR's lead and throw out the team's leader and team principal for the tech failure? No, they just make Sabrina buy all the vodka. Our team leader is off to Oxford Brookes for graduate school and I don't think the team would let me leave. But booze was drank and tears were shed. |

Our electronic throttle didn't pass tech because of ECU has a timing issue. We couldn't fix it in time to race. We can however run the car all summer to prep for next year. A throttle not doing the proper throttle things does seem like a legitimate reason to have failed tech. On par with brakes that don't slow the car. |

Maybe it is time for a Monaco redo. I’m one that absolutely loves the track and the glamour. But these cars aren’t built for it. It has the best back drops in all of motorsports. And it is steeped in history. But that’s all in the past.

Monaco is in the top 3 list of tracks that could fall off the scheduled and i wouldn't even blink. Would much rather it become an F3, F4 and historic race weekend.

Give all the drivers an historic car from the '60's and let them race. Make it a non-points paying exhibition race, with historic cars or replicas. For motivation: The Winner gets pit stall #1 (normally given to the WCC of each season) for the next season. |
