Isn't Alpine bringing a new, lighter front wing?

All they have revealed is a floor although some pictures in the pits suggest there is a front wing. Supposedly they saved 4kg on the floor and other smaller changes.

After P1 & P2, the red cars are quick. Max is .245 off the pace. Lulu is 1.5 seconds off the pace.

At the end of the last race I noticed that Charles LeClerc was wearing a real watch. I was surprised by this as most drivers have just had the watches printed on their gloves for the last few years. Are watches exempt from this rule? Just about every team on the grid has an official watch sponsor, after the race they're handed a timepiece to wear for the cameras. I know about the sponsor deal, but he rolled up in parc ferme, got out of the car with the watch on his wrist. I was surprised to see this. I know it was common back in the day. I remember someone losing a race win because he took his watch off before he got weighed and the the car/driver was underweight as a result.

If I had to do the same again, I would, my friend, Fernando.

Stupid question, with the changes we've seen at tracks like OZ and changes in Jeddah, is it possible to un-fuck Hockenheim for example? It'd be nice, but it's pretty well beyond fucked in the forest area.

What happened to the Carlo/PTP beef thread? What happened to Carlo and PTP for that matter? Things must have gotten a bit heated. Apparently Motorsports Mayhem also shed some weight.

So how come the the RED cars can porpoise and still be fast but the Mercs can't? Or is this the current cycle's version of Macca/Honda's "GPS shows we have the best chassis"?

I think I'd puke if it was my job to drive those cars.
So far it's the kind of the usual Australian GP where performance oddities are the norm.
