Or maybe have it only for cars fighting for position on the lead lap and no DRS when dealing with back markers being lapped. 100% agree with this. Doesn't this pretty much mean that once you are lapped you have zero chance of fighting for the lead again?

I was referring to a lead lap car passing a car it's already lapped, i.e. the lead lap car would no longer get DRS when trying to pass a lapped car. It just helps them extend their lead. Re: the lapped car fighting for the lead again, they aren't gonna be doing that anyway unless they get 'Lucky Dogged" and allowed to take that lap back under a SC.

Apparently the S5000s are 9 seconds quicker than they were in 2020 qualifying. Gonna be interesting to see how much quicker F1 cars are. It's effectively a new track.

"If you're Australian... the Australian Grand Prix is your home race."
- Will Buxton on DTS, probably
(Haven't watched that tripe since Season 1, but friends love it)

What happened to the Carlo/PTP beef thread? It must be more entertaining for them to drag their shit into 3 or 4 threads.

Merc just shed 15kg from their car. At the end of the last race I noticed that Charles LeClerc was wearing a real watch. I was surprised by this as most drivers have just had the watches printed on their gloves for the last few years. Are watches exempt from this rule?

Just about every team on the grid has an official watch sponsor, after the race they're handed a timepiece to wear for the cameras.

What happened to the Carlo/PTP beef thread? What happened to Carlo and PTP for that matter? Things must have gotten a bit heated.

Stupid question, with the changes we've seen at tracks like OZ and changes in Jeddah, is it possible to un-fuck Hockenheim for example?

Onboard Lap Of The New Albert Park: 2022 Australian Grand Prix. For the most part, looks like track limits will pretty much enforce themselves this weekend. As they should at every GP ...
