He pretty much has his days on a winning car counted. Time for him to show its no longer a team sport when your team shafts you.

He was paid close to $50M over five years to drive the fastest car on the grid. He was given a soft landing that Merc helped with. I guess I don't view him as being "shafted" by Merc. The only issue was the single-year contracts but hey, I will go year-by-year for $10M/yr and not complain a bit.

So all the people who I know who just got into Formula One with DTS legit believe Bottas is the second best driver in the sport and don't understand his move. LOL. |

So all the people who I know who just got into Formula One with DTS legit believe Bottas is the second best driver in the sport and don't understand his move. LOL. When people ask me "who is the best Formula 1 driver? My response is "Its complicated" My response is "The car". Hopefully that changes next season. |
