Its ridiculous how much faster Mercedes is but they always manage to get into dramas.
A proper driver would have won 1 minute in front with that Mercedes

Ocon has led most of the race and we've seen him for only a few laps. I didn't realize that F1 was only 1 driver and the rest are a supporting cast.

Bottas took a 5 spot grid penalty for next race for sliding on the wet.

The talking heads after the race said it was a disastrously two weeks for the bulls. This is true. But they fail to mention that their chief rivals, the mercs, took out the bulls, in both of the past two races. If ya can't beat em on the track, take em out.

Oh I LOVE watching people get their first win. Way to go Ocon. Way. To. Go. Alonso did a fantastic job of playing wingman for his teammate, keeping Hamilton at bay for way longer than I thought he would be able to hold him off. Do they have assists in F1? Alonso should get one. And I don't think I have to tell you how thrilled I was to see Alonso leading the race, however briefly.  What a mess at the start. But right now I am just so so happy. |

A wise Toto would replace Bottas with Russell meaning no grid penalty for Mercedes at the next race.
Enjoyed the hell out of Alonso v Hamilton, no disrespect to what Ocon and Vettel were doing but that wouldn't have been as interesting.
