Firstly the name on the thread is wrong, it's Ribeiro. Secondly, he had an "odd" CART career. His successes were almost entirely on oval tracks. He managed to win 3 oval races for Tasman, and his lap leading career was 465/466 on ovals, mostly Michigan. Crashed a lot on road courses. He was smart to turn his failed Penske tenure into a life-long business partnership. Shall be missed, by all accounts a really nice guy.
