Looks like I'll have to make do with Radio LeMans and live timing.

Who's going to try to stay up for all 24 hours? I tried it once by myself; hard to do. I have to work for a while this time.

Pre-Le Mans Balance of Performance adjustments revealedThe Balance of Performance for the GTE Pro field ahead of the Le Mans 24 Hours has been adjusted, with the full numbers being released today. It’s a mixed bag of changes, in part designed to ensure that the cars complete no more than a mandated 14 laps maximum from the second stint in the race, but also to equalize the performance of the cars. Of the six cars in the field, the only car that remains untouched is the Porsche 911 RSR, which ran fastest at the Test Day. racer.com/2018/06/12/pre-le-mans-balance-of-performance-adjustments-revealed/

Yeah, that's about what i'm thinking. There is a ton, or tonne, of talent in this field, but with so many entries there are bound to be folks who don't know exactly what they're doing, especially in the middle of the night.

For example, the Ford: Reduce weight = go faster Increase fuel = fewer stops Less turbo = slower accel Me not smart enough to understand. Easier to understand that fastest car gets no penalty. Cuz Porsche.

Cuz Porsche. I think they are trying to help the Ford compete with the Porsche. But since the Ford is turbocharged and the Porsche isn't they wanted the powerful turbo effect to be minimized.

Who's going to try to stay up for all 24 hours? I tried it once by myself; hard to do. I have to work for a while this time. Done it a few times. LOL by the end it all runs together and you begin to think passes that occur 3 hours before the end constitute a close finish. The easiest time to do it was when I was back from a trip to China with sore throat so sleeping was hard anyway and hate watching was easy.
