Watch and jewelry magnate David Lee gives a Dino a Singer Porsche type treatment. It is beautiful.

The P80/C Is What Happens When You Build a Ferrari With No RulesFerrari’s Special Projects division latest work elevates an already lofty game. The car world has rules for everything. Thousands of regulations for both street and race cars dictate precisely what can be done. Even within Ferrari’s Special Projects (SP) division, which helps customers conceive and create one-off vehicles, designs are bound by what Maranello’s engineers, designers, and marketers think is right. That last rule is likely the biggest reason why the screaming sculpture on these pages required four long years of work to complete. Like all great projects, it’s the progeny of conflict between talented people, including its Hong Kong-based owner. The P80/C breaks rules: It’s the first Ferrari SP built on a competition chassis. It’s not legal for racing or the road. It follows no rules. This is what Ferrari would build if Ferrari did only what it wanted. A Legend Revived: GTO Engineering's Ferrari 250 GT SWB Competizione ReplicaThe 250 SWB Revival is a $1 million rebuild of Ferrari's spectacular original. Objective reporting can only carry you so far when it comes to a car like the Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta Competizione. But as it's one of the most venerated and valuable cars of the late 1950s and early '60s, it's hard to do anything else. Calm, rational analysis is near impossible, not least because of the considerable difficulty in persuading somebody to lend you one. The faster and prettier versions of the Ferrari 250 sit right at the top of the automotive pantheon. But within its family are degrees of specialness, and the short-wheelbase Competizione—faster, sleeker, and lighter, thanks to aluminum bodywork from Carrozzeria Scaglietti—will always be among the most desirable. It's not quite at the level of the 1962 to '64 250 GTOs that billionaires fight over—one of which sold for $70 million in 2018. But to land a good original example of one of the 74 aluminum-bodied GT SWBs, you'll still need a budget that runs into eight figures. www.caranddriver.com/reviews/a33955335/2021-gto-engineering-ferrari-250-gt-swb-berlinetta-competizione-revival-drive/?source=nl&utm_source=nl_cdb&utm_medium=email&date=091020&utm_campaign=nl21384593

The Roma Brings Back Ferrari's Elegant Glory DaysRecent Ferraris have trended towards shouting performance and overt aggression. The Roma is a return to form for Ferrari road cars, an elegant grand tourer brimming with character. In the Sixties, most road-going Ferraris prioritized elegance and beauty above all other metrics. These were gorgeous machines, penned by Pininfarina, built by hand, and powered by V-12 engines that were as captivating to listen to as they were to operate. During the late Fifties and the Sixties, Rome became known as Hollywood on the Tiber. The ancient city was the playground for the rich, the famous, and the beautifully dressed. Rome, in the public consciousness, became a world center for the good life, a home to those who appeared to know innately how to enjoy themselves at a leisurely pace, surrounded by beautiful things. www.roadandtrack.com/reviews/a34847159/ferrari-roma-brings-back-ferraris-elegant-glory-days/?source=nl&utm_source=nl_rdt&utm_medium=email&date=120420&utm_campaign=nl22263714&utm_term=AAA%20--%20High%20Minus%20Dormant%20and%2090%20Day%20Non%20Openers

Some are complaining it looks too much like the Evora. I think the Ferrari is better looking. Much the same way the Ferrari Roma looks like an Aston Martin but better.

The Ferrari Daytona SP3 Is a V-12 Tribute to a Glorious Past Ferrari's latest Icona Series car gets advanced construction techniques from the LaFerrari, a look paying homage to the 330 P, and a mid-mounted V-12 sourced from the 812 Competizione.Ferrari's Icona series is designed to distill the spirit of its greatest groups of cars, rather than any one specific car, into one modern, limited-release car that translates past glory into modern performance. The first two takes on this concept, the Monza SP1 and SP2, turned the concept of open-topped racers from the mid-1950s into a 812-based speedster. This is the third take, inspired by the mid-engined Ferrari prototypes of the late 60s and early 70s. In tribute to that family of cars taking a 1-2-3 at the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona, the car will be known as the Daytona SP3. Ferrari Purosangue Leaked Images Show the Super SUV's StylingFrom what we can tell from these grainy photos, Ferrari's first foray into the SUV world will be polarizing at the very least. An image circulating on social media purports to show the new Ferrari SUV. Called the Purosangue, this new model is slated to begin production later this year. We're expecting a turbocharged V-8 engine to be standard, with a possible hybrid setup.Just the idea of Ferrari producing an SUV has created plenty of controversy on its own, and this first glimpse of the upcoming Purosangue is sure to get people talking all over again. A few leaked images making the rounds on social media purport to show the new Ferrari SUV from the front and rear angles on the factory floor. Whether it's the camera angle, the poor image quality, or some combination therein, they don't paint the most flattering portrait of the Purosangue's proportions. www.roadandtrack.com/news/a39165216/ferrari-purosangue-suv-leaked/?source=nl

According to Shelby, the best Ferrari he ever drove! When it comes to cars sold at auction, Ferrari is breaking record after record. In fact, except for the $142.9 million Mercedes 300 SLR, Ferrari is on the top of the list of the most expensive cars in the world. This 1955 Ferrari 410 Sport Spider set to be auctioned by the auction house RM Sotheby in Monterey, California, in August 2022 will most likely be no exception. Only two units were ever built, and this particular one was driven by Carroll Shelby himself in the prime of his career. www.topspeed.com/stories/cars/car-news/this-1955-ferrari-410-is-1-of-2-in-existence-and-was-piloted-by-carroll-shelby-ar196529.amp.html
