It still kinda looks like a Vette. I'll give them that.

Why do they ruining these cars with that crap taillight treatment? The Camaro ass looks like ass and so does the C7. Why GM? Why?

I think they copped some designers from Porsche.

I think they copped some designers from Porsche. Don't even get me started with the 992, that thing is a design disaster.

This isn't the 1950's any more where guys like Harley Earl could design pretty stuff and have it built. Now it's mostly dictated by wind tunnel numbers.
The front end of this and the rear wheel tunnels look like a lot of other 'super car' designs now. Not really surprising.
But I still think it looks like a Corvette.

The renderings are unofficial but based on the camo versions out in the real world probably aren't far off unless GM has pwned everybody. I think it's damn near impossible to design a mid engine supercar that has truly distinctive looks. Other than the front and rear fascia there isn't much to work with. The engineering under the skin is where the action is.

Here is a good 3D render. Looks great, except for those damn taillights.

On the suspicion side it's been pointed out that neither of the "leaked" photos has any badging on it. No crossed flags on the front or Corvette on the rear.

Former General Motors Vice Chairman Bob Lutz thinks that there is room in the world for a Corvette SUV. :LINK:

It's a sad world.
A Porsche service writer once told how good the suv was for business. Every Monday morning there was a long line at the door.
