^ Bob's a class act. When I asked him on twitter if he was in that pit pic I had, he replied right away.
At San Antonio in 1990, he and his cameraman (I think he with ESPN then) came into the convention center where we were paddocked to do a piece on ground effects tunnels for the broadcast. He was incredibly gracious and humble, and hung out for a while bench racing with our crews. I've never forgotten that. Great guy.
