For many people the expectation of a joyful and meaningful “Holiday Season” collides with the reality of crowds, traffic congestion, and extremely rude people who are stressed out and somehow have missed out on the spirit of giving. For me, there is no expectation of anything except a big hassle. Finally, when all of the madness and reality of the “Shopping Experience” has subsided, it is possible to relax, eat, drink, and be merry.

My downstairs neighbor made a nice dinner for me. And although I was late due to a misunderstanding on my part, she still re-heated it and we had a nice conversation.
Now: I promised to find out why her 'copper' landline - Frontier Communications (ex Verizon) - cannot make calls to my cellphone. Maybe tomorrow... :chin
