The mob at the Ralphs Market ganged-up on me at the checkout line 'cause I misidentified the end of line. I escaped before they could erect a cross. Then - in the parking lot - a 'Chumash' woman charged at me with murder in mind after I slapped her passenger window for laying on her horn for five seconds or more for someone to get out of her way (assaulting my ears and brain)! 'Bitch', she called me. C--t, I replied. "That's where you come from" was her retort! "Holiday spirit"... I commented to a passerby. She understood! Santa Barbara used to be a pleasant little town... Now: there are simply too many people every where I go!

The art is the product of my step-mother's first husband, that my father had made into Christmas Cards with the artist's permission.

Thank you mmi16. This Lionel model of the B&O EM-1 2-8-8-4 is very nice in the video below. The 'overhang' is really extreme when rounding curves.

If you'd have slapped my passenger window for ANY reason they'd have had to call 911 to haul you away

If you'd have slapped my passenger window for ANY reason they'd have had to call 911 to haul you away So... You think it is OK for motorists to inflict actual physical pain upon the people nearby by initiating long, locomotive-like blasts with their SUV 'truck horns'? I do not! Nor do I abide motorists who jump the green light at the corner crosswalk at high speed, cutting-off the pedestrian (me) preparing to step off the curb. I had considered using one of those escape hammers for breaking out of a submerged vehicle on those bastards but, that would definitely put me in jail! A slap does no physical harm! "Before they could erect a cross" - I was being serious. They were ready to lynch me! I had bumped into one persons cart but the outrage of the multiple shoppers was totally out of proportion. It was none of their concern as I had already apologized to the overly irate woman! You had to be there to understand. And you have to be me to understand the seriously disturbing effect that sudden and very loud noises have on me. - That is why I take medications for anxiety and agoraphobia. Persecution complex has nothing to do with it. A lifelong of bullying - just for the fun of it - by big, mean 'mutherfuckers' due to my small physical stature and atypical personality does! And, don't anyone mention "Napoleon Complex" or, I am Gone!
End of rant! Merry Christmas!

Sounds like a concerted, concentrated effort to minimize exposure to others might be in order. They don't know of your issues, and expecting others to accommodate them is a recipe for disappointment, or worse, days like that. That said, I wish you well, being you cannot be easy. Bueno suerte and Feliz Navidad.

I do need to shop, frequently, because of no car. But you do have a point in avoiding holiday shopping madness. I need to work on that. One of those folding red wagons would help with a more comprehensive shopping trip! Accommodation is not what I seek. Civility is what is lacking! And I need to re-up my dose of meds which I had thought (mistakenly) that I could cut back on. There is great pressure among the medical community to limit prescriptions for these classes of medications. But they are not helping the people who need them to function among the barbarian hoards on the streets. They only worry about chronic abusers!
Merry Xmas and Happy New Year

You can do nothing about others' civility, especially at this time of year. Any improvement on your interaction with society is going to have to come from you.

I Know! Most people are just no damn good. No joke! Yes, but you can't fix them. All you can control is what you do. A good start might be to take your full strength prescription.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, & generally Happy Holidays, everyone!
Trying to be inclusive. Also, I haven't read the whole thread, so I'm not sure what all the hubbub is up above, but I assume it's related to how crazy & what a beating holiday shopping has become, with all the traffic, Black Friday stupidity, rude shoppers, soulless merchandisers that start putting up Christmas displays and playing Christmas music in early October, etc. I have just two words to offer you that have changed my holiday shopping experience immeasurably for the better ... Amazon. Prime.

Merry Christmas LOL. Is that a Bugatti? Reminds me of the video I saw of the Lambo in Montreal, with sheets of plywood strapped to the top, and pulling a trailer. Unreal. Looking, but can't find the vid yet.

Looking, but can't find the vid yet. It's a Vaydor kit that starts with the chassis pan and drive train of an infiniti G35. However the tree looks like it's real.
