Toyota issues team orders. 8 is going to win, 7 stronger but unlucky.

Smart orders. No need to risk a 1-2 finish for the team thru a fight.

LMP1 very, very anti-climactic in more ways than one this year.

15 minutes left. 20 some seconds. they prolly won't do the thing where the team cars pass the finish line together. :-)

Spinning the wheels is such a dumb rule. If a guy spins his wheels and loses control, causing an accident, then I can understand the penalty. That didn't happen to Ben Keating but he is going to lose GT AM over it.

Cameras on Alonso but, but he can't make Indy let alone win. Indy so much tougher and so much more competitive than LMP1 in WEC.

#7 Punctures ?????
Toyota 'admits' they changed the wrong tire the first time and had to pit the 2nd time to change the right tire. Unbelievable!

Spinning the wheels is such a dumb rule. If a guy spins his wheels and loses control, causing an accident, then I can understand the penalty. That didn't happen to Ben Keating but he is going to lose GT AM over it. It's only a 'dumb rule' until it happens. If it keeps that from ever happening, it's NOT a dumb rule. Pit lane speed limits were dumb also until a guy got run over. No one who's ever been working in a hot pit lane during a professional race (ESPECIALLY a 24 hour race where crews are at best exhausted) thinks it's a dumb rule.
PS ... remember, in F1 and WEC there is no wall between the pit lane and the garages/crews, unlike IndyCar and Nascar.

The problem with the rule is that it leads to 'selective enforcement'. To my limited knowledge Keating was the only one penalized - the tire marks along the pits demonstrated he wasn't the only driver to to do it - and it was done with regularity by other teams.

That's a different issue. A rule that permits selective enforcement is a dumb rule. That's a different argument. If true, I do not disagree. However, it is not 'dumb' for the reasons MB thought it is.
