Now it's a bit disappointing now that the pack got split by the pace cars. Toyotas also got separated.

Safety cars - as they are being used are destroying the race.
The effectiveness of the 'slow zones' to my mind eliminate the need for a Safety Car for a incident that is one sector only. If there are more than one incident in different sectors then the Safety Cars are indicated.
First time I have heard announcers say 'X is a Safety Car ahead of Y'.

I don't watch endurance racing as much as some of ya. But I noticed this. They're fueling the cars at the same time that they're changing tires or whatever. When did that change? They used to fuel the cars and then when they were done, they'd do everything else.

Great link - Video Stream #1 No commercials At the 13 hour mark it appears that Video Stream #1 and #2 have swapped. VS #1 now has commercials.

They used to fuel the cars and then when they were done, they'd do everything else. ACO made that change for the 2018/19 season. I think that they'll go back to the split refueling and tire changes for the 19/20 season.
IMSA have been doing this since 2014.

Do all cars have the same fuel capacity. P1 cars running 30 or so minutes between refueling stops are working the crews to death.

7 Toyota has a puncture. 8 to the lead with an hour to go. 8 has one more stop. Finish is going to be close.

Faulty tire sensor on the 7? Lopez thinks he has another puncture.

TK says 7 team might wish they had Kobyashi in the car right now. Lopez might be the weakest link in the lineup.

Starting to sound like ACO & manufacturer politics is starting to get into the equation.

Anyone think that Toyota is glad that the Alonso Experience is coming to an end?
