Race 1 is up now. Just starting to watch it.
Edit: Don't blink on the first lap.

Holy crap, laps 1 and 2 were a race steward and team owner's nightmare.

Yeah, there were a lot of people holding their breath waiting to see how they'd call that. I'm happy, but no doubt there are others that disagree.

I think they called it as well as it could be called. Right after the race all the drivers at the front who were involved seemed fine with how things were handled.
I think the only one who was in any way screwed over was Cortney. In an ideal world he would have finished just ahead of Reynolds rather than just behind.

Pretty darned weird, but since it was explicitly allowed and explained in the drivers' meeting there isn't much to argue about.

Exactly, and it highlights why McLaughlin is a consistent front runner and series champion while Coulthard is more uneven. Coulthard didn't read the memo and gave up a dozen position, and many championship points, because of it.

Scott didn't have a clue either. He said on Trackside after the race that he just did what he did and if he got penalised then so be it.

Race 2 was very straight forward. Maybe the least interesting of the year?
