GTE Pro has 11 cars all on the same lap Now down to 9 on the same lap. But it was 8 within 30 seconds at the time.

I'm not sure what the marshals are doing with the 17 SMP. It would have made sense for them to move it to a safer location then let the driver work on it. That's well within the rules. All they did was move it closer to the barrier rather than into the cutout.

I keep waiting for Justin Bell to wander around among the party people. That was always a lot of fun.

LOL, you got your wish on the 17. But he got it running just enough to cause another yellow.

I have seen Tracy Krohn wreck in both Grand Am and ALMS. #goals I've actually seen something much rarer. I was in Le Mans when he somehow managed to finish on the podium. ...or screw to whole race up shedding carbon everywhere.

since I've velocity on cable, I streamed it on the cell. Here's a good story. I'm watching the race at the coffee shop this morning. And told Eliot a barista about the 24 hour race. He didn't know anything about it, but has a childhood friend who works in the race pits for somebody. Later I gave him a view of the cell. He looks up his friend on facebook. turns out the guy is at Le Mans, working in the ford pits. :-) he's posting on facebook from the race. :-) That is so cool.

Gap between 1 & 2 down to 13 seconds - from 2:21 a couple of hours ago. Toyota found a way to fix Buemi's screw up without having to issue team orders. They put slow-poke Lopez in the 7 for a long time while Fred and then Kaz ran him down. Now they are nearly even.
A very tactful solution to a sticky problem.

^^ except for the 8 car seems to be having brake problems. and then there's one of the fords. pulls into the pits with about 9:40 to go. they changed front brakes in about a minute. F+++ me anyways. that is good S+++. :-)

I'm pretty sure #8 Toyota will get a penalty. I'm fairly certain the wheels aren't supposed to spin while the car is on the jacks.
