NBCSN having their signal disrupted by the weather it would appear. A lot of pixilation and audio cut out.

At least we get to see some GT shiznit from Lizime Pizark That's what I'm watching, on DVR delay of course.
Before they signed off from Iowa they said they should be able to run some time tonight. The Limerock IMSA stuff was scheduled for later. Assuming that's when Iowa will happen, I'm setting the DVR to catch that and an extra 90 minutes of recording time just in case.

I hope it runs because I actually decided to drive out here. I think this is part of why oval racing is a tough sell nowadays also. People make a lot of plans to go and run the risk of the race being canceled or shortened even though a lot of money has been spent. Not many sports have that issue except baseball and not all teams are in that situation.

Iowa Speedway @iowaspeedway (Around 8:15PM) "Three Air Titan 2.0 vehicles are on track now as track drying begins.
Again, no cancellations or decisions regarding tonight’s #Iowa300 have been made. Please stay tuned for updates. The grandstands remain closed as there is lightning in the area."
(Teams have said on twitter that the latest they can start and get this race in is 10:30PM Eastern time.)

Yeah, they cut away from Limerock a little while ago to show the situation at Iowa.
Rain had mostly stopped and radar showed that probably no more was coming.
It's only a 7/8 mile track, so with the equipment on hand they should get it dried pretty quickly.
JPM is not driving, so the chances of someone crashing into a jet dryer is relatively slim.

"Let's do this thing! Cars are heading to the grid at 9:45 p.m. CT. Start time for the #Iowa300 coming shortly.
Thank you so much for your patience, everyone!"

I really wish it was DRIVERS starting the engines, not the pit crew.
