Of course, he was much younger and less mature then. I think we can all agree that despite that fact that his taste in clothes has regressed, his level of maturity has increased. I bet Jenson wishes he would have fled to Merc! When Rosberg was still around was Lewis mature? I did not see that. Is he being mature now by banning Rosberg from the post-qualifying and post-race interviews? Not by my count. Lewis is only mature when it suits him. Holy crap. Did that happen?

I can't see how Lewis could have any control or influence over who the network sends to do those interviews.

Am I right in saying that some of us want to see Hamilton and Verstappen at M-B F1 just to see if (or, rather, how much) Lewis and Max drive each other batshit? Jenson was a great teammate to Lewis and Lewis lost his shit multiple times before fleeing to Merc. ...where Britney made him lose his shit, mind AND hair.

So, does this win mean Verstappen loses his exit clause?

Gasly is seriously underachieving. I have a feeling his seat is getting warm.

Time for Williams to put a live body in the Kubica car.

Time for Williams to put a live body in the Kubica car. How did he get voted driver of the race today?

Time for Williams to put a live body in the Kubica car. As much as I have always liked Robert, I agree. The only positive to keeping him through the season may be that their car sucks anyway and perhaps he is good at providing feedback. Playing for a better driver next season.

I used to be a big Kubica fan, and I still like him, but the window to achieve success in F1 is very narrow. That horrific rally crash essentially boarded it up for him.
While I feel sorry for him, I wish he would be realistic and focus on a series where he could do well. Maybe sports cars or something.

When you are getting lapped by your teammate who is in the same crappy car you are done. Maybe they are waiting for the summer break.

Same should be said for Gasly getting lapped by HIS teammate's race winning car. In Kubica's case the money he's paying for the drive leaves things a bit sticky, Williams would have needed to build in a performance clause to break their contract before the end of the year. IDK if that's the case here but Kub's sponsor is threatening to take their funding to another team "next year" if things don't improve. That sounds like they're blaming the team for not supplying equal cars, which is probably exactly what Kubica has been feeding them (his backers) all year.

Kubica was a lap behind everyone else on the track.
