MICHAEL DUNLOP GOES THIRD ON ALL-TIME TT WINNERS LIST Wednesday, June 06, 2018 Michael Dunlop took a record breaking win in the Bennetts Lightweight TT on Wednesday afternoon at the Isle of Man TT Races fuelled by Monster Energy with the Paton rider smashing both the lap and race records on his way to his 18th TT win. Despite a relatively steady start, Dunlop took advantage of early leader Ivan Lintin’s retirement at Bedstead on lap two and with a new lap record of 122.750mph, he came home 14.6s clear of Derek McGee and Michael Rutter. McGee second place was his first TT podium. Dunlop beat the old race record by over a minute. McGee led at Glen Helen on the opening lap with the Irishman flying on the KMR Kawasaki although it was close with his lead over Lintin just half a second. Dunlop was 1.6s back in third with Stefano Bonetti, James Cowton and Rutter slotted into fourth, fifth and sixth. By Ballaugh, Lintin had nosed ahead by 0.8s but one man in trouble was David Johnson, the Australian stopping to make adjustments to his KMR Kawasaki at Douglas Road Corner. By Ramsey Lintind was 2.9s clear of new second placed rider Dunlop as McGee slipped back to third albeit only 0.3s. Bonetti, Cowton and Rutter continued to fill fourth to sixth place positions. Johnson retired at Sulby Bridge but a new lap record of 121.603mph gave Lintin a 5.7s lead over McGee who was continuing to excel and was also inside the old lap record. Dunlop was only a further second behind in third as Bonetti, Cowton and Rutter remained in fourth to sixth. Second time around Lintin still led at Glen Helen by six seconds but Dunlop had got back up into second with McGee now a second back in third. Bonetti was over 25s adrift in fourth but Rutter had moved ahead of Cowton by a tenth of a second to make it three Patons in the top five. Coming into the pits at the end of the second lap, half race distance, and there was drama as it was Dunlop who led with another new lap record of 122.257mph. Lintin went through Cronk ny Mona but retired at Bedstead and that promoted McGee up to second, only four seconds behind Dunlop, with Cowton now third. Rutter was up to fourth but he was coming under pressure from Peter Hickman and Bonetti as just 0.3s covered the trio. Daniel Cooper, Ian Lougher, Michael Sweeney and Joey Thompson now completed the top ten. There was a change after the pit stop with McGee’s team doing a great job on the fuel and he led Dunlop by 3.1s at Glen Helen on lap three. There were changes further back too with Cowton going out at Crosby and Hickman made it two KMR Kawasaki’s in the top three as he overhauled Rutter. Dunlop called on all his extra experience around the Mountain Course though and by Ramsey, he was back in the lead by 1.2s but McGee’s excellent ride saw him slash the gap to just half a second at the Bungalow. Hickman appeared to be in control of third as he extended his advantage over Rutter to 10.6s. Cooper was out though having retired at Glen Duff. Going into the fourth and final lap and Dunlop had responded with the margin to McGee having crept out again to 1.6s and the Ulsterman wasn’t to be denied as he came home for his 18th TT win and third of the week. McGee was delighted with his maiden TT rostrum but team-mate Hickman went out at Union Mills on the final lap and that promoted Rutter up to third for his 17th TT podium and with Bonetti finishing fourth and Thompson in fifth, four Patons finished in the top five. Michael Sweeney, Ian Lougher, Adam McLean, Julian Trummer and Dominic Herbertson completed the top ten.

DUNLOP PROVES A HEAVY HITTER IN THRILLING BENNETTS LIGHTWEIGHT TT RACE Wednesday, June 06, 2018 Michael Dunlop stormed to a strong win in record time on the last lap of Wednesday's Bennetts Lightweight TT Race at the 2018 Isle of Man TT Races fuelled by Monster Energy. Completing his last circuit at 122.750mph, Michael emphatically exceeded James Hillier's longstanding record, set in 2015, of 120.848mph. But he didn't have it all his own throughout the race. At Glen Helen on lap it was Derek McGee of Mullingar who was the - to some - surprise leader. Although there were only fractions of a second in it throughout the first two laps it looked like Ivan Lintin, a two time winner of the race, would be the leader at the pitstop until news filtered through he was a retirement at Bedstead. Out of the pits Derek was once more a leader with Michael Dunlop and Peter Hickman filling the other two places. With Hickman also being reported as a retirement it was Michael's Paton team mate Michael Rutter who was promoted into third place. Taking the lead on the third lap Michael Dunlop 'pulled the pin of her' on the final circuit and extended his lead to over 14 seconds by the line. Derek McGee also completed his final lap inside the old record to cap a fantastic afternoon which saw the Mullingar rider take his first top ten result.

Rather than be subjected to further rude comments, we'll wait to report the exciting news for the benefit of those who are a day behind. Perhaps Loud Pedal will post the well-known results when he finally gets them.

Saturday, June 02, 2018 Silicone Engineering Kawasaki mounted Dean Harrison shattered the record books in the delayed RST Superbike TT Race on Saturday. From a standing start the Bradford rider lapped in a seemingly incredible 16:50.384, to give an average lap speed of 134.432mph, the first 134+mph lap in TT history and a new absolute lap record. In response second placed rider Michael Dunlop, the previous lap record holder, lapped at 17:01.700 - 132.943mph. The second circulation saw Harrison maintain the pace, despite slowing for pitstops and, with an advantage over Dunlop amounting to over sixteen seconds, Harrison's team were in a comfortable position to ensure that they got everything right without undue time pressure.

BIRCHALLS SMASH RECORDS IN LOCATE.IM SIDECAR TT RACE 1 Saturday, June 02, 2018 The Mansfield brothers broke their own lap record on each of the three laps, moving the outright lap record to an astonishing 118.694mph, and they came home 47.1s clear of John Holden/Lee Cain with Tim Reeves/Mark Wilkes completing the podium in third. After the race Ben revealed that they had to work hard for the win and paid tribute to his brother and team. He said: “You never know what pace you can run on the Isle of Man. Tom’s been incredible – faultless. We had a bit of a moment at Windy Corner – I’m blaming the wind. We’ve got a great team and Chris builds some great engines.” The Birchalls led from start to finish and at Glen Helen on the opening lap, their advantage over Holden/Cain was a slender 2.1s with Reeves/Wilkes only a further second back as Alan Founds/Jake Lowther, Pete Founds/Jevan Walmsley and Dave Molyneux/Dan Sayle completed the top six. As the lap progressed, the Birchalls continued to extend their lead through all the timing points and it was clear they were on a fast lap – indeed, as they flashed across the line at the end of the lap, they broke their own lap record with a speed of 117.502mph. That gave them a more than healthy lead of 13.1s over Holden/Cain and although Reeves/Wilkes continued to hold onto third, there were problems for Founds/Lowther who pitted to make adjustments and Molyneux/Sayle who retired from the race whilst holding onto sixth. Meanwhile, newcomers Michael Jackson/Harry Payne set a good opening lap of 106.242mph. The pit stop dropped Founds to 21st place but there were no such problems at the head of the field and the Birchalls were setting a sensational pace and by the end of the lap, they’d doubled their lead to 26.1s – and little wonder as they’d smashed the lap record with a stunning lap of 118.694mph. Holden/Cain became only the second crew to lap at more than 117mph with a lap of 117.370mph and they were now 19 seconds clear of Reeves/Wilkes. Founds/Walmsley were up to fourth with a new personal best lap of 114.613mph ahead of Conrad Harrison/Andy Winkle and Founds/Lowther who had amazingly climbed all the way back up to sixth. On the third and final lap, the gaps between the front runners continued to widen and with a final lap of 117.771mph, the Birchalls came home for their seventh TT win and fourth in a row. Holden’s runner-up spot was his ninth podium in a row and 19th in total, while passenger Lee Cain became the fastest Manx passenger whileReeves/Wilkes came home in a good third place. Founds/Walmsley took fourth place with brother Alan and passenger Lowther taking a brilliant fifth place given their earlier pit stop and it was Harrison/Winkle who completed the top six. Darren Hope/Lenny Bumfrey, Gary and Daryl Gibson, Gary Bryan/Phil Hyde and Greg Lambert/Julie Canipa rounded out the top ten.

I know you're having fun spoiling everybody else's fun but I'm not. Guess I'll stop reading this thread since the Velocity is a day behind. Nobody intentionally spoiled your day. When a broadcast is not in sync with events you should expect to read things that are in sync. Not everybody in this world has Velocity or has knowledge of their scheduling plans.

How are the IoMTT road bikes different from BSB bikes?
Bournemouth Kawasaki
The TT road bikes have different gearboxes, larger fuel tanks, different swinging arm, different brakes, much taller screen and they also have kit Ecu for electronic aids like traction unlike the control BSB ECU without rider aids, Regards JG Speedfit Kawasaki,

The Superstock race is fantastic. Wow. That it was. Best race of the meet by far although Hicky getting the finish in the Senior was also good.
