And we like to congratulate Toronto's Nicholas Latifi for scoring a feature win at Bahrain this weekend that also followed a 3rd-place podium in the sprint. For Florida-based driver Juan Manuel Correa will be a weekend to forget after a dismal start that send him to the back of the field. At 1 point in the sprint, he battled for a points paying position until he collided with Jordan King. He would never recovered. Luca Ghiotto finished 2nd in the feature. But netted the sprint win thus leaving Bahrain with the points lead by 2 (37-35). Brazilian Sergio Sette Camera scored 2 2nds both in the feature and the sprint. Camera sits in 3rd. The major feeder series will head to Baku in 1-month's time for the 2nd round. www.fiaformula2.com

We like to congratulate to Clovis, California native Carter Williams who just salvaged a podium finish in race 3 in the 1st round of the British Formula 4 championship this past Sunday At Brands Hatch. His 1st race of 3 had issues after starting 3rd before dropping to salvage a 9th for his 1st points. And was 1 position short for his maiden top 5 after finishing 6th in race 2. Luke Browning, Louis Forster and Sebastian Alvarez leave Brands Hatch with wins. Alvarez scored 2. Barbados driver Zane Maloney gets a 2nd in race 1 and a 3rd in Race 3. With 2 2nd-place podiums, Mexican driver Alvarez takes the points lead over Browning and Foster, with Maloney and Williams securing the top 5 in the standings. There was not that much consolation for New Yorker Yves Baltas who just salvaged his weekend with his 1st championship point in the Renualt Eurocup series opener at Monza with a 10th place finish in race 1. But he would collide with 2 other competitors in race 2 ending his day. Ugo De Wilde and Alexandr Smolyar would split the weekend. www.renaultsport.com

It was a very busy Easter delayed weekend for our US hopefuls. But there were great perfomances. In British F3, Kaylen Frederick and Neil Verhagen managed a USA 1-2 in Race 2 at Oulton Park. The Potomac, MD native made huge amends after his Race 1 debacle when he collided with his fellow countryman causing him to drop to 13th in the season opener. But Verhagen soldiered on with a broken wing with a 12th place finish and a 5th place in race 3. 2 top 5s for the Mooresville, NC native. Frederick's win was courtesy of the full reverse grid for all drivers running at the finish where Frederick was the last driver running 13th. He would only earn 20 points for the Race 2 win. Wexford, PA. native Kris Wright was not fortunate. Kris could only race to an 11th place finish and at the bottom for races 2 and 3. Clement Novalak was the winner in race 1 and Jonathan Hoggard took race 3. After a delayed Easter Sunday, it is Novalak taking the points lead courtesy of a 2nd place podium in race 3, with Hoggard only 11 points behind (81-70). Ayrton Simmons keeps steady in 3rd with 2 podium finishes, followed by Ulysse De Pauw and Kieran Jewiss rounding the top 5. Verhagen holds 6th in the standings. Frederick holds 8th, with Wright in 15th as the series heads down to Snetterton in the 1st week of May. www.britishf3.comFast fact: Danish driver Benjamin Pedersen is racing in the F3 Americas as well and just became a US citizen. He currently resides in Seattle. He is also doing double duty in the UK in British F3 and scored 2 10th-place finishes after a dismal DNF in race 1. Pedersen holds 13th after round 1. His story from British magazine - "The American" www.theamerican.co.uk/pr/int-British-F3-Benjamin-PedersenAlso a nice congrats to St. Louis driver Spike Kohlbecker, whho just notched top 5 finishes with 1 win ina shorten-red-flagged race 2, a 2nd place in Race 1 and a 4th in race 3 in the Formula Ford UK series championship up at Snetterton this weekend. For Sulphur, California native Aaron Jeansonne, it was not fortunate with 2 dnf in the race. Rory Smith and Neal Mcclennan won the other races in the weekend with Kohlbecker holding a tiny 1 point lead over Smith (83-82) with the next round at Oulton Park in the middle of May. ff1600website.com/

Congrats to Huntington Beach, Calif. native Nicky Hays who just notched a Top 5 weekend in the French F4 championship in their season opener at Nogaro. Including his 1st 3rd-place podium in Race 3 going with a 4th in race 1 and a 5th in Race 2. But it was France's day with Hadrien David taking victories in races 1 and 3 and Ugo Gazil winning Race 2. Moraga, Cal native Bryson Lew went outside the top 10 and was not fortunate. David take the points lead over fellow Frencheman Reshad De Gerus who was the only driver scoring all 3 podium finishes with a 3rd in race 1 and 2 2nds in the other 2. Hays remains in 3rd. The series will take a break until 2 weeks time at the legendary Pau street Circuit. www.ffsaacademy.org

We like to congratulate Juan Manuel Correa for his best performance of this season with a 2nd place in the sprint at Baku. His front row start in Race 2 was based on multiple DNFs in race 1 after starting 17th on the grid where he finished 7th. The Florida-based Ecuadorian-American managed to get his 1st points on the season. The driver of the weekend once again is Toronto's Nicholas Latifi who scored a sprint win that goes with a 4th place finish in the feature. Jack Aitken took the feature win and a 3rd place in the sprint. Completing the feature podium are Nick De Vries and Jordan King. Latifi continues to lead the Formula 2 standings with a 62-43 margin over Aitken. Luca Ghiotto drops to 3rd followed by De Vries with Sergio Sette Camera rounding up the top 5. Correa has a temporary leap to 6th as the major races are upon them. The real season begins at Barcelona. www.fiaformula2.comIt was not very fond with Clovis, Cal. native Carter Williams who had to endure 2 7th place finishes in Races 1 and 3 in the British Formula 4 championship at Donington Park. And a dnf in race 2. British driver Louis Foster skidded into wins in races 1 and 3 with Aussie Bart Horrtsen taking honors in Race 2. Another honor for Barbados driver Zane Maloney being the top rookie in the series with an 8th in Race 1 and 2 6th place finishes. Mexican Sebastian Alvarez stays in tabs with Foster after salvaging his weekend with a 2nd-place podium in race 3 after a disappointing 9th in race 1 and a 5th in race 2 thus enabling to keep the season fight with Foster trailing by 17 (108-91). Luke Browning holds his 3rd place position with a 3rd place podium in race 3. Hortsen and Maloney round up the top 5. Williams drops to 8th. The series will continue on the middle of May at the Thruxton Circuit. www.fiaformula4.com

In the Euro Formula Open, Cameron Das will have to re-group after a disappointing start of the season at Paul Ricard. The Baltimore native would not recover in race 2 after a 15th place finish in which his car would not recover from his early Race 1 exit after 6 turns. it was also disappointing when his qualifying laps were deleted due to track limit infractions. Liam Lawson and Marino Sato split the weekend. Their next round will be at Pau in 2 weeks time www.euroformulaopen.net

It was a very rough outing for our US drivers at Barcelona. Florida based drivers Juan Manuel Correa and Logan Sargeant took it very tough this past weekend. Boca Raton's Sargeant had a promising start with a P5 start. But went downhill losing 1 place to another in Race 1. Logan lost 10 spots for a brutal P15 finish. He would not recover from there after ending his nightmarish weekend in P14 in race 2. Toronto's Devlin De Francesco had it worse with a P23 in race 1 and a P20 in Race 2. Robert Shwartzman and Jehan Daravula split their weekend with wins. Christian Lundgaard and Marcus Armstrong stood the Race 1 podium while Juri Vips and Niko Kari scored podiums in race 2. After round 1, Shwartzman holds a 13 point lead over Lundgaard with Daravula and Armstrong holding 3rd and 4th. But only 3 points apart. Vips stays steady in 5th as they will wait until the next round in Paul Ricard at Le Castellet. http:www.fiaformula3.com Juan Manuel Correa's weekend was a slippery start when he had to yield to a P19 after meeting a sand trap during qualifying and stood there at the finish in Race 1. But only managed to a P15 in Race 2. But Toronto's Nicolas Latifi took top honors in Race 1 with Jack Aitken and Guanyou Chou right next to Latifi in the podium. Nick De Vries took top honors in Race 2 with Luca Ghiotto and Callum Illot sealing the Race 2 podium. Latifi could only manage a P6 finish. But in the end, Nicholas remains the series leader over Ghiotto keeping him 26 points behind (93-76). De Vries and Aitken are only 5 point behind in 3rd and 4th. Zhou is a very distant 5th. Correa drops to 9th as a result as the formula 2 round will be at Monaco in 2 weeks time. www.fiaformula2.comBut the best performance of that weekend was New York's Yves Baltas in the Renault Eurocup latest round at Silverstone where he started 15th in Race 1 only to come short for a point scoring race wounding up in 11th. But made amends in Race 2 after starting 7th. But salvaged a 9th place finish. Aussie Oscar Piastri leaves Silvertone with his double. Joao Vieira and Petr Ptacek were the Race 1 podium finishers while Aleksandr Smolyar and Victor Martins were podium finishers in Race 2. And after round 2, Piastri takes the lead away from Martins with 16 point margin (62-46) with Smolyar and Ugo De Wilde keeping steady in a tie for 3rd. Kush Maini rounds up the top 5. Baltas drops to 16th as the next time around, the Eurocup heads South for the Monaco GP weekend. www.renaultsport.com

The British F3's US contention were very productive at Snetterton. The Seattle-based Swede-American Benjamin Pedersen managed to get his 1st podium finish with a 2nd place in Race 2 with 2 top 10s ( A 10th in Race 1 and an 8th in Race 3). Mooresville, NC native Neil Verhagen scored his 2nd podium of the season with a 3rd place finish in race 2 going along with a 6th in race 1. While Potomac, MD native Kaylen Frederick with w 3rd-place podium finish in race 3, a 4th in Race 2 and a 7th in race 1. Wexford, PA native Kris Wright scored his 1st Top 10 finish with a 10th in Race 3. It was a Swede kind of weekend for Lucas Pederssen and Hampus Ericsson scoring wins along with Jonathan Hoggard in Race 1. Clement Novalak's 2 2nd Place podiums and a 6th in race 2 helped his cause to maintain the series points lead over Hoggard by 37 points. Ayrton Simmons is in 3rd followed by Ericsson and Frederick who jumped from 8th to 5th in the standings. Verhagen holds steady in 6th wit Pedersen in 10th. Wright remains in the bottom of the charts. Their next round of 3 will be at Silverston in the middle of June. www.britishf3.comIn Pau, Cameron Das is finally in the Euro Formula Open scoreboard managing to survive a wet track with 2 top 10 finishes with a 6th in race 1 and a 8th in race 2. Liam Lawson, Julian Hanses and Marino Sato were the top 3 in the Race 1 podium. But the weekend belonged to Billy Monger scoring his maiden win in race 2. Monger was a breakthrough story becoming the 1st amputee to win an F3 race of any kind. Lawson continues to lead the standings with a 6 point margin over Sato with Lukas Dunner maintaining 3rd. Yuke Tsunoda and Linus Lundqvist hold their top 5 in the standings. Baltimore's Das moves up to 12th with his 1st 2 scores as they meet this weekend at Hockenheim for their next 2 races. www.euroformulaopen.netIn French F4, Huntington Beach, Cal. native Nicky Hays did not had the weekend he wanted after suffering 2 retirements in the 1st 2 races at Pau. And could not start the 3rd race as a result due to extensive damage. Moraga, Cal's Bryson Lew scored his best finish this season with a 9th.But is still pointless this season. Enzo Valente and Hadrien David were the winners in this round. The series will take a 1 month break before heading to Spa in the end of June. www.ffsaacademy.org/?lang=en

Monaco was the hardest for both Toronto's Nicholas Latifi and Florida-based Juan Manuel Correa. Both drivers went scoreless during the Monaco GP as they can hear Nick De Vries and Antoine Hubert winning the races. Latifi would suffer a drive-thru for tapping the rear of Sean Galael into the wall during the feature. But in the end, Latifi escapes Monaco with a 1 point cushion over De Vries (95-94). Luca Ghiotto and Jack Aitken who also went scoreless are 3rd and 4th. while Guanyu Zhou settles for 5th in the standings. Correa drops to 12th, with Paul Ricard for their next round. www.fiaformula2.comIt also not easy for Clovis, Cal. Carter Williams. But he would manage to score 2 top 10s with a 10th in race 1 and a 6th in race 2 during the latest British Formula 4 round at Thurxton. The weekend belonged to Barbado driver Zane Maloney where he scored wins in races 2 and 3 and a 2nd place podium in race 1. Luke Browning won race 1. Louis Foster -who despite salvaging with 2 top 5s with a podium in race 3 and a 4th in race 2, watched his lead trimmed down to 5 after Mexican driver Sebastian Alvarez took top 5s on the weekend with a 5th in race 1, a 3rd in race 2. And a 2nd in Race 3. Maloney closed the gap sitting in 3rd. Bart Hortsen and Browning complete the top 5. Williams currently hods 8th in the standings with Croft becoming the next round. www.fiaformula4.com

At Outlon Park during the the Formula Ford 1600 British series, St. Louis driver Spike Kohlbecker scored a pair of top 5s with a 3rd place finish in race 1 and a 4th place podium in race 2 in which enabled him to keep 2nd place in the standings. Jonathan Brown was the winner in race 1 while Ross Martin took 2nd ahead of Kohlbecker. Race 2 was the other way around with James clarke taking the 3rd place podium. Sulphur, Cal native Aaron Jeannesone would only score a top 10 with a 10th in race 2 and an 11th in race 1. Martin keeps Kohlbecker at bay with a 12-point advantage with Neil McLennan only 7 points behind 2nd. UNOFFICIAL PODIUM BEFORE THE PENALTY. Silverstone has brought some great achievements and disappointing heartbreaks during the latest British Formula 3 round. In race 1, Mooreville NC's Neil Verhagen and Potomac, MD's Kaylen Frederick scoree top 5 finishes with Verhagen getting his 2nd runner-up finish and a 4th place for Frederick. Verhagen's result was based on a technicality due to the fact that CDR driver Ayrton Simmons was hit with a 4-second penalty after the race for going out of bounds at the Stowe corner. Simmons dropped to 3rd. Series leader Clement Novalak was the race 1 winner. Wexford, PA's Kris Wright finished P13. In Race 2, Seattle-based Dane Benjamin Pedersen took advantage of the race 1 reverse-grid finish to win Race 2 with Jonathan Hoggard and Pavan Ravishankar as podium finishers. Frederick finished 12th after his 10th place finish was taken away due to track limit infractions. Verhagen was also hit with a penalty for false start ending in 17th. Wright finished last. Race 3 would be the one to for Verhagen to forget. Just as he was leading Simmons from the start, he was hit with a track limit penalty as is Simmons thus handing the win to Novalak. Hoggard would score his 2nd podium with a 2nd with Ferderick taking the final podium spot. Verhagen was classified in 5th. Pedersen finished 10th with Wright bringing the rear. After 3 rounds, Novalak continues to dominate with a 36 point lead over Hoggard (226-190), With simmons a mere 9 points behind 2nd. The top 2 US drivers Frederick and Verhagen are 4th and 5th. Pedersen breaks into the 10th. Wright is near the bottom in 16th with Spa as their next destination. www.britishf3.com

From June 8-9. In the Formula Fork 1600 UK series, it was a great weekend for St. Louis native Spike Kohlbecker who had an outstanding top-5 weekend at Anglesey despite missing a win in race 1. Along with a 2nd-place finish, he followed up with a 3rd place podium in race 2 and a 4th place in race 3. And it enabled to close in to series leader Ross Martin who after scoring 2 wins in the 1st 2 races, his 3rd race went down with engine trouble. Neil McLennan was the race 3 winner. Sulphur, California Aaron Jeanesonne posted 3 top 10s with an 8th in race 1, a 10th in race 2 and 9th in race 3. With Martin's race 3 misfortune, Kohlbecker is now 3 points behind Martin. Jeansonne is 11th. The series will now head to Croft next weekend. docs.wixstatic.com/ugd/db92ba_d001ccfb70494c4db3585212c5ff9798.pdfff1600website.com/category/news/brscc/national/

From June 8-9. Spa-Francochamps was not friendly for Baltimore's Cameron Das during his latest Euroformula Open round after bottoming out of the top 15 in both races. Especially when he stalled in Race 2. Marino Sato went on to sweep Spa on the weekend. Sato now has a commanding lead over Kiwi driver Liam Lawson (158-104) after he collided with fellow Red Bull Development driver Yuki Tsunoda in Race 2. Tsunoda holds 3rd by 6 points behind Lawson. Lukas Dunner and Julian Hanses round up the top 5. Das is in a distant 13th was they head down to Budapest at the Hungaroring. www.euroformulaopen.net

A huge congratulations to Riverton, Utah native Bruno Carneiro who after securing funding this month, Carneiro scored his 1st win in the Asian Formula Renault Series at Zhuzai in race 2 and a 3rd-place podium in race 1. It enabled him to leapfrog in the point standings to 3rd behind Dutch driver Joey Alders and Georgian driver Sandro Tavartkiladze. Carneiro will be working hard to secure more funding unless an extra sponsor comes into his doorstep to provide him extra funding for his next round at the Tianjin V1 International Circuit in the middle of July. art-motorsports.com/commanding-bruno-carneiro-wins-formula-renault-race-two-at-zhuhai/

Another congrats to Florida-based driver Juan Manuel Correa who has another double sore this past weekend in the FIA Formula 2 round at Paul Ricard after scoring a 7th place finish in the feature race where it resulted a front-row start in the sprint race based on the top-8 finish reverse order start. That start gave his a hard-earned 2nd place finish in the sprint behind sprint winner Antoine Hubert. Nick De Vries, Sergio Sette Camera and Jack Aitken completed the feature podium. Toronto's Nicholas Latifi finished 5th in the feature and a 6th in the sprint. with the feature win, De Vries jumps to a 12-point lead over Latifi (121-109).Aitken jumps to 3rd while Sette Camera jumping 1 spot to 4th behind Guan Zhou. Correa is in a very distant 8th with Austria's Red Bull Ring on the horizon. www.fiaformula2.comSalvaging was a word that Boca Raton, Fla. native Logan Sargeant had to describe. It was a consolation where he scored his 1st Formula 3 point for his 8th place finish in the sprint at Paul Ricard. Sargeant fought to a 12th place finish in the feature. Feature podium: Jehan Daruvula, Robert Shwartzman, and Pedro Piquet. Spring podium: Shwartzman, Piquet, and Daruvala. With the sprint race win, Shwartzman, retains his lead over Daruvala 70-58 after 2 rounds with Marcus Armstrong holding narrowly 3rd ofer Estonian Juri Vips. Piquet jumps to 5th for his 1st points of the season. Sargeant gets on the scoreboard in 17th as they join the F1 train at the Red Bull ring. www.fiaformula3.com
