MM back to the track on the RC231V Mat Oxley: Marquez seems pretty happy after his first 39 laps on a MotoGP bike since his humeral osteotomy in early June. "Bone is 100% fixed," he said. The muscles are obviously weak & causing some pain but most important are these words, "All the muscles are working in the proper way".

Marc Marquez completes 39 laps before lunch break Halfway through Day 1 in Misano, the eight-time World Champion has been testing new parts for HRC as he enjoys a successful return to action We’re halfway through Day 1 of the Official MotoGP™ Misano Test and so far it’s Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing) who sits fastest with a 1:31.531, 0.026s ahead of teammate Maverick Viñales, as we see Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) return to riding his RC213V. First pics. marc marquez93 rides again. The eight-time World Champion has completed 39 laps before lunch at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, and after initially heading out on a standard RC213V – similar to the one he last rode at the Italian GP – it didn’t take long for the number 93 to start testing new parts for HRC. It’s a very busy box down at Repsol Honda, which is fantastic news for HRC, Marc Marquez and MotoGP™ in general. Aprilia Racing Test Rider Lorenzo Savadori has two bikes to test on Day 1, while Noale factory teammate Viñales has been one the busiest rider so far – the San Marino GP podium finisher has clocked an impressive 51 laps, just a few shy of Darryn Binder (WithU RNF Yamaha MotoGP™ Team). It’s a big couple of days for Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™ with the factory expected to roll out a 2023 prototype. World Championship leader Fabio Quartararo has three bikes at his disposal, and the Frenchman has completed 43 laps so far to sit P3 on the timesheets. Last weekend’s polesitter Jack Miller (Ducati Lenovo Team) crashed unhurt at Turn 6 during the morning session. Keep up to date with the action via Live Timing and across MotoGP™’s social media channels. At the end of Day 1, motogp.com will have an extensive report, plus interviews and highlights. Top 10 at midday: 1. Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing) – 1:31.531 2. Maverick Viñales (Aprilia Racing) + 0.026 3. Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™) + 0.057 4. Pol Espargaro (Repsol Honda Team) + 0.176 5. Enea Bastianini (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) + 0.210 6. Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) + 0.277 7. Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) + 0.333 8. Alex Rins (Team Suzuki Ecstar) + 0.405 9. Fabio Di Giannantonio (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) + 0.419 10. Luca Marini (Mooney VR46 Racing Team) + 0.506

A crucial two-day Misano Test awaits 2023 parts and the return of Marc Marquez; it’s set to be an intriguing couple of days at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli On Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th of September, a crucial two-day Official MotoGP™ Test takes places at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli as factories roll out 2023 parts to test ahead of the Valencia Test, while we also welcome back a certain Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team). The eight-time World Champion’s return was the big breaking news on Friday at the San Marino GP, as Repsol Honda confirmed that after a couple of track days on a Honda CBR600RR at MotorLand Aragon, all was well with his right arm. This was confirmed further when Marquez passed a medical check on Saturday in Misano, signalling the perfect news for both the number 93 and HRC. This test is vital for the Japanese giants in terms of 2023. 2022 has been a tough season as all their focus now turns to making a competitive, race-winning RC213V for the upcoming campaign. The Misano Test will give Marquez a chance to offer some critical feedback on the new parts being tested, but arguably more importantly, it will also act as a huge indicator as to when he’s able to make a racing return. Elsewhere, Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™) admitted in Thursday’s pre-event Press Conference that Yamaha are bringing a 2023 prototype to Misano, so it’s going to be compelling to see what the reigning World Champion has to say about the new engine. Title rival Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) hinted that he won’t have too many things to try, but we can certainly expect Ducati to be very busy – as they always are. In addition, Aprilia and KTM will be lapping with 2023 firmly at the forefront of their minds, but Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing) did express his desire to try and find some performance under braking, to try and bring him closer to the Ducatis and Quartararo. As we know, Espargaro is well in the title frame alongside Quartararo and Pecco heading into the final six races of the season. These two days in Misano – for all the riders – act as the perfect gateway to try things that the Test Riders have been testing ahead of the end of season test at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo. Factories will be wanting to arrive in Valencia with a much clearer plan, which the Misano Test helps them to do. Suzuki, as they get set to say goodbye to MotoGP™ at the end of the season, will be focusing on finding ways to finish the 2022 campaign as strong as possible. Unfortunately, Joan Mir (Team Suzuki Ecstar) remains sidelined after picking up an ankle injury in his Turn 1 Austrian GP crash.

From a Deckchair on the Iceberg Jesus wept, if HRC's new fairing borrowed any more from Aprilia it would need "Made in Noale" stickers. Still, if talent borrows and genius steals...start the process by nicking from the best

Mat Oxley: Marc Marquez on track aboard his RC213V at Misano today. Remember even if his right humerus is OK the muscles won’t be. His main goals are to build muscle through riding and find a bike development direction for 2023.

PecinoGP it looks like Yamaha’s new engine works. Fabio Quartararo and Franco Morbidelli satisfied with the progress of the first version of the Yamaha M1 2023 engine: “better top speed without losing flexibility and progressiveness at the bottom. »
Quatararo: "The engine has already improved, but we have more time and margins. I had doubts but I have always maintained my confidence in Yamaha. Now the atmosphere in the team is one of those who don't want to be satisfied"

Today Honda tested a Kalex swingarm at Misano. Mat Oxley Assume it's HRC sitting down with Baumgartel (one of the cleverest guys in the paddock) & deciding what's required. Racing is more & more international! Assume it's Kalex built. Kalex like their swingarms VERY deep! Lots of longitudinal stiffness, minimal lateral
