You just knew the Hamilton red mist would factor in with Alonso so close.
Such a stupid and clumsy attempt at a pass. "He was in my blind spot!" says Lewis, really? So weak.

I'll give Lewis some credit here. Blind sport or not he owned up to it and took responsibility. Then when the lady from the Lewis fan club (Sky) was interviewing him she tried to stir the pot asking about Alonso's comment on the radio and Lewis cut her off and shut her down.

I saw that as Lewis being a little thin skinned about accepting criticism from a fellow driver. He could’ve said “it what it is” but instead he acts like a petulant child.

The only blind ones are the FIA for not penalizing this Hamilton Trademarked idiotic crash move. He will no doubt repeat it over and over again...

So Ferrari actually believed that even though they were over .6 slower for the entire weekend that somehow LeClerc could set a faster lap than MAX had. Talk about arrogant. Max is on his was to sewing this up in Japan

The lulu fanbois are out in full force trying to pin it on Alonso..... I have been accused of being a lulu fanboi but that was 110% his fault. Glad he manned up for that but what a dumb move so early in the race. I was astounded he wasn't penalized; it was a clear violation.

Probably because he didn't actually take Fred out like he did himself.

Though in theory the penalty is not supposed to be tied to the outcome. But yes, theory and reality are different!

Alonso: “This guy only knows how to start and drive in first!” No truer words spoken! Yeah I have to agree 100% and have been saying the same myself for years. I'm not saying he was never good in close quarters. He was. He was great. But imho it's clear that having such dominant cars for so long has taken its toll on his racecraft when he actually has to race in close quarters. The worst part for Lewis is that all he really had to do was hold that outside line and he would very likely have made the move stick on the upcoming lefthander.

I can't wait for the sad hamilton walk memes Yeah I'd be shocked if there's not already a meme out there with Lewis walking past Alonso in the deckchair.

Yeah, i was saying to myself at the end that Lulu threw away a 3rd place finish with that move.

All he needed to do is wait, since he had the faster car anyway.

Gotta say Ocon, Gasly and Seb all ran great races. The Aston And AT actually have descent race pace that their qually speed hides, that's something Alpine should be credited with of figuring out. Macca just looked bad, their lack of top speed is going to make Monza a looong day.
