If only Bot' didn't have to take weekly penalties to build-up Merc's supply of 'P-Units' he would look a bit better, no?  |

I believe they are car specific so ONLY he can use those units he's racking up if he needs them, Lulu is on his own. I think Mercedes is challenging Bottas to move up the leader board by paying him a bonus beyond X spot to entice him to do well and ensure Mercedes wins the Constructors Championship again. If he can't or doesn't do that then he gets the 2nd tier of strategy calls. I don't think, like most of us, that Mercedes WANTS Bottas to win and that they have decided that he's expendable as a back marker or blocker while still driving a very good car that should be able to be well up into the points most if not every race. Yes they screw him with the strategy calls but tough shit for him. |
