Too close for comfort for VK, Sea-bass and Chilton as they come for the final lap.

Palou deserves the championship. Not saying he'll win it, but he's earned it.

Dumb-asses.

Portland calls it the 'Festival Chicane' - I don't know what is festive about having 6 or 7 lanes of track reducing to a single line through the chicane.

That’s typical for an Indycar race. Not really! Typical of Portland, however. Plus the tv talking heads are absolutely terrible. Because of the format and rules there's often a lot of different race leaders. Yesterday there was a boatload of leaders. Not saying that is bad. But every time someone else took the lead they talked up his chances and what ifs, if the guy who was leading at the time would win the race. Palou stops and comes out in 7th place or what ever. And doesn't have to stop again. So jo blow is leading. He has to stop at least once more because of fuel usage. Yet they go on and on about what if jo blow wins the race. Case in point. Rahal. Around lap 65 or 70 he's leading. But he has to stop. And Palou has already stopped. There's no way Rahal is gonna win at that point. Maybe 30 laps earlier he had a chance, but not at that stage in the race. But they go on and on about what if Rahal wins.

But if they start calling it YOUR way - nobody that is leading before the last 10 laps would have any chance to win. You pump up the leader when you have a leader.

So much for streaming races on Peacock. I started watching Portland yesterday, and right before the race started I get the "This program has ended". I fast forwarded and the race never came back.
Call me old fashioned, but this streaming bullshit is just a pain in the ass. Guess I'll either dig through Spectrum's prehistoric DVR setup again or just watch something else.

That’s typical for an Indycar race. Not really! Typical of Portland, however. It’s happened at multiple races this year. Barber, Texas, Indy GP, Nashville, Portland off the top of my head. Heres a typical Indycar start.
