I’m becoming a big fan of Ericsson. The guy keeps battling and is fun to watch. He seems to really enjoy indycar also.

I agree the track design is bad. Seems like they could have come up with something better unless the city said they can only use those streets. Also I can't remember a track where they can pit under yellow and only lose a couple spots. Almost sounds like something F1 would come up with.

The track is the worse that I have ever seen since the presence of Baku.

The track is the worse that I have ever seen since the presence of Baku. It needed to have a railroad crossing at grade like the original Watkins Glen course and the Baltimore GP course.

Fun finish and a cool winner, but a terrible race track.

Even with rumble strips on that turn 9, it will not make a difference.

So IndyCar gets the biggest audience and huge (for cable) ratings and put on a shit show.
Holy shot. Other than the bridge, there were no redeeming features of that mess. Just dodging around blocks, drivers making kamikaze moves because the bridge was the only real passing zone. It was like watching late 80's Trans Am drivers racing IndyCars on a Formula E track. Jimmy Spencer and Kyle Busch would have put on a cleaner race.
Rubbin's Racin'!!!

I wasn't impressed with the track layout, as I said it's more suited for Formula E.
But it was the drivers who turned it into a shit show. Part of that was the track, part of it was the loose nuts behind the wheels.
Meanwhile in Watkins Glen, NASCAR put on a good race and only had one accident-caused caution flag.
