4 Red Flags through the Q sessions Track limits. And none of them were a Stewards decision.

I starting to doubt the intelligence of some of these drivers.

I starting to doubt the intelligence of some of these drivers. They have become too accustomed to track limits being painted lines that they can cross with little danger to their cars or themselves. When the track actually limits them they are in uncharted waters.

That was an event-filled session. I tend to think it was just drivers pushing hard, and not just being accustomed to track limits being painted lines instead of walls.
Alonso in Q3! Hooray! I am curious to see how things go at the start tomorrow. Hopefully it doesn't rain.

Sometimes that was the case, but a couple of times they clearly were not going to make the corner and instead of taking the escape road they speared straight into the barrier at corner exit. They looked like amateurs.

^^ They made a dig deal about LeClerc getting a tow from lulu on that qualifying lap. but when ya watch the clip ya can barely see lulu's car up ahead. I wonder how much of a tow, if any he really got?

According to them almost anything good that happens on track is because of Louie.

Car set up prior to arrival at circuit: wind tunnel and engineers. Car set up on the fly: driver input

Car set up prior to arrival at circuit: wind tunnel and engineers. Car set up on the fly: driver input Bull, they use the telemetry connection with the factory to test and analyze every change they think they want at the track.

They looked like amateurs. Even if they took the escape road the drivers behind would still be screwed on that lap. The problem is these transit bus like cars, they give you ONE shot at the corner with no redemption. Go back a decade and the driver would boot the throttle and kick the back around the corner if they missed the apex. these pigs simply don't want to turn, i'll be glad when they're gone.

Like FA has never driven beyond his abilities. Well, the engineers tell them how fast they can go, but then it's up to the driver. I suspect though, that Alonso is right. With self-policing track limits, a lot of the drivers are over-exerting themselves, thinking they can drive as fast as the engineers tell them, but what ends up happening, they over-drive the track. That's why I love street circuits. You drive the limits of the track NOT the limits of your car.

The PU's power application software doesn't allow them the be 'dirt tracked'. The PU's and power application can't do anything except what has been programmed as 'normal'. There should not be driver adjustable - differentials, power maps and all the adjustments that drivers are expected to control for each turn.

Eliminate 'most' of the steering wheel controls. That stuff is way excessive. And 'Power Modes' should be banned, with only the drivers right foot in control!
