Vance & Hines Adds Angelle Sampey For Four Races Three-time Pro Stock Motorcycle champion Angelle Sampey will team up with longtime rivals Vance & Hines to compete in the first four NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series events of the new season. Sampey will ride a Screamin’ Eagle Harley-Davidson Street Rod starting at the 50th annual Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals at Gainesville (Fla.) Raceway in March, alongside teammates and fellow champions Andrew Hines and Eddie Krawiec. The 42-time Pro Stock Motorcycle winner will also race for Vance & Hines as a showcase rider at the two Four-Wide events at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and zMAX Dragway in Concord, N.C., as well as at the Southern Nationals at Atlanta (Ga.) Dragway. National Dragster Senior Editor Kevin McKenna and NHRA.com first broke the story. Sampey won her three class titles in consecutive years from 2000-02, crossing paths with the Vance & Hines team many times along the way. “It’s surreal to be getting ready to race one of these Harleys after lining up against them for so many years,” Sampey told National Dragster. “I’m so motivated to get out there and see what I can do on the same bike as Eddie and Drew.” “I’m truly thrilled for Angelle to have this opportunity to run with us on the Harley-Davidson Street Rod,” added Vance & Hines founder Terry Vance. “No question, Angelle has been one of the toughest riders we’ve battled with for so many seasons out on the track. I have so much respect for her and what she has accomplished in this class, and I’m really looking forward to seeing her give the boys a run for their money on the Harley.” Source: speedsport.com/drag-racing/nhra-drag-racing/vance-hines-adds-sampey-four-races/

Advance Auto quickly shifts over to Brittany in the Top Fuel car which hints at a shortage of sponsorship for 4 Force teams.

Weird, but I would like to see Courtney drive IndyCar, or at least the Indianapolis 500. Would be the first 500 with a married couple driving in it.

Advance Auto quickly shifts over to Brittany in the Top Fuel car which hints at a shortage of sponsorship for 4 Force teams. Then maybe it was a strategic move to consolidate sponsors. But, realistically, how much longer can John drive?
I had seen Courtney as the future face of the team. Brittany always seemed a rather reluctant participant. She's a mediocre drive who only won a championship because Alan Johnson put his magic spell on her car.
Not sure but I don't remember the top fuel team having a full season sponsor last year and I don't think they had a happy car after wrecking the first one.
John Force will apparently outlast the rest of his family.

Answers to what JFR is doing. Austin Prock will drive either funny car or top fuel when there is sponsorship. Grubby moves in to be crew chief for Brittany. Co-crew chiefs from Courtneys' car are moving over to John Forces' car. It's pretty clear Force has a 4 car shop but only 3 cars worth of sponsorship. sports.yahoo.com/nhra-john-force-racing-shuffles-151733088.html
