I actually did some research and I found out that the pace-car driver was actually Charlie Kimball and Pippa Mann’s driving coach.

Acctually, according to a Yahoo news article "GM's Mark Reuss crashed the Corvette on the parade lap before the second race, losing control at the crest of Turn 2 and hitting the concrete wall."

This guy must not only be a huge race fan; but it looks like he's actually driving the space station. (Which I know is not possible.) But he sure keeps showing up at all the races! Wonder if he's recruiting any new fans?

Well the pace car wreck made it on ESPN's Around The Horn... That’s the most coverage ESPN has done for Indycar in over a decade. And BTW, that show is terrible. It consists of a lame host and a revolving panel of four clowns.

Not a bad race week to close out ABC's coverage. It sucks that they're leaving but at least there's no more Cheever bias.
Still can't believe Marco won the pole. Good for him. He hasn't had anything good happen since midway through the Obama administration.

All in all - A good weekend show. Competitive racing. I thought it was an excellent weekend. The dual race format is a lot of bang for the buck.
