So why not say it out loud! I suspect the contract with Rokit is in the hands of lawyers to reach a settlement. The lawyers for both sides have control over what is said. It was mentioned that Williams felt they had fulfilled their part of the deal. Still - they should have said we have terminated the contract with RoKit as we feel they have breached the contract. Good old lawyer double talk.

Williams is also registered as a PLC (public) company, instead of a Limited (private) company in England, and British law limits what public companies can say about such things.

Williams probably has, but the fact is Rokit isn't getting their money's with the cars sitting in the factory, missed races mean missed market exposure. Only the lawyers know what clauses in the contract covers this situation but I'm thinking a meet in the middle deal will be the outcome.

Williams financials, because they are public, are pretty much known. Rokit was still owing a million pounds after last season but without knowing the due date for payments for this year placing emphasis on performance or missed exposure is hard. I think the deal was supposed to run to something like 2023 so apparently a financial or legal wall was hit.

I guess I have just become accustomed to the US paradigm of calling the 'opposition' anything and everything except honorable at screechingly high levels in tweet and in voice.

At this rate Toto will own a piece of every F1 team on the grid except Ferrari/RedBull.
