55 got a little racy a little too early in the race. Tincknell took blame but said Castroneves was moving left and right in the braking zone prior to that. Having watched Castroneves for years in Indy Car, that is so Helio. His reputation as a blocker was second to no one.

Why has the pit lane speed limiter been extended 2/3 of the way from the actual end of the pits to where pit out joins the track?

With the C8 - Corvette switched the engine from a multiplane crank to a single plane crank. What are the advantages and/or drawbacks to this change?

In a nutshell, flat plane higher revving, lighter and smaller, more vibration. Multiplane more torque, heavier, bigger, less vibration.

Briscoe screwed the pooch. Nice job of throwing away the lead, dude.

Sam Posey doesn't 'sound' good in his commentary piece.

With some good strategy, and a luckily timed full-course caution, the 10 got back on the lead lap. Then their raw speed put them up front again.
Looks like they're the car to beat today.

the #10 walked out a 40+ second victory. All in all, 40 seconds after 24 hours of mostly Green Flag record paced race is damn close.

With the C8 - Corvette switched the engine from a multiplane crank to a single plane crank. What are the advantages and/or drawbacks to this change? With BoP? Theoretically none.

Flat plane has much better exhaust flow.
