Me too. The last was fantastic. I think each Sprint Weekend they should mandate the tyre stint length to match the lap count of the Sprint Race. the only reason it worked last weekend was because it wasn't planned. Many had used a lot of their tires b-4 the tire count came up. Had they planned it ahead of time everyone would have been pretty much on the same tire strategy. Make the decision on a Big Wheel - numbers from 15 to 25 with ZERO's interspaced and the results aren't announced until after the Sprint race. Maybe there are tire limits, maybe there won't be any.

Had they planned it ahead of time everyone would have been pretty much on the same tire strategy. See that's the thing. Every "normal" race has been preprogrammed by the teams. What difference will it make if from now on they program the Sprint Weekend race with stint length regs? In the end we watch a preprogrammed race anyway. At least the Sprint Weekend ones would be slightly different. Now if you like everything to be the same all the time, then I can understand not liking my idea. You know, you're describing exactly what NASCAR is / has become, right? Which is why I've stopped watching again.

I will never forget the time there was a picture of Buck with Milka Duno @ Indy. Somebody here wrote "Wow - is that Milka Duno?" I replied "No, that's Buck." Buck got a kick out of that one.

Losing Buck was a bummer. Around the time the rona hit. If it was the rona that got him or not, I don't know. Around the same time the guy who was the Dodger fan, I think he lived in the Keys, that was when he went dark. :-( Buck was our inside guy for all things Indy. He know all the inside info. And anybody who was a Dodger fan I liked. The 1st world series I remember was the one in 55. The Dodgers beat the Yankees that year. :-)

I was just a few miles away last week, though I was 35,000 ft up in the air (got a decent pic of the track out the window!).

BTW, it's not going to be exactly 'cool' next weekend here in Austin either. It's been in the low 70s the last 2 days, which is amazing, but from the look of the forecast, it'll be 90-92 or so each day. Humidity ranging from 25% to 75%. Very little chance of rain, so far.
Very cool for us compared to the summertime temps of a couple of weeks ago, but not cool for the drivers.

Still venerate the O's sweep of the Dodgers in the 1966 WS, with the Dodgers scoring 2 runs total in the 4 games.

^^ The O's had good pitching back then. In one of those years they had 4 20 game winners in one year.
