I was joking about the missing Loctite. I know, but there is generally no fastener on a race car that does not have some sort of anti-loosening method applied. Yep. Thanks for posting the picture. I had no idea what they looked like.

The rule is pretty black and white. No sympathy from me. Not asking for sympathy. Just seems like Harvick picked the wrong season to retire. This one has been snake bit. To be fair he had nothing to do with the installation of the windshield. Sometimes I think that drivers could be separated from team penalties. Like the loose lug nuts deal. That being said DQing a car that is not up to safety standards is what should be done. Just sucks for Harvick, that's all.
Crafton and Sanchez penalties are right in line with NASCAR policy. Boys have at it rules don't you know. Sanchez's Dad got banned from the pits for the rest of the season. Because he got involved and he should not have. That is in line, it happened to Lagano's Dad way back when Joey was in a scuffle.

Historically - Drivers are Responsible for EVERYTHING. Car Prep and Crew Actions Back in the day - the driver was the entrant, crew and gofer.

Deegan goes full-time Xfinity in 2024With Trucks being a dumpster fire that it is, this is her chance, and dare I say her last chance? It isn't known for how long the deal is for but she will be 22 next year. Not saying she has to win right out of the gate but she needs to do better.

I'm glad they didn't try to move Hallie up too fast. Really need about 4 or 5 women running as all the 'men' feel they have to tag the only female on track as a mark of their 'manhood', infantile though that may be. When you get 4 or 5 marking the rest then everybody can 'shut up and drive'.

I'm glad they didn't try to move Hallie up too fast. This would be her 3rd year in Trucks and only 5 top 10's. Xfinity cars drive vastly different then the Trucks do. And based on her background, it may benefit her. Her first year is a freebie, learning curve. After that she needs to start showing results.

As mmi16 pointed out it is really hard to show results when you are "marked" by toxic masculinity in a field of young men that get their feeling twisted if a woman out performs them. In the SRX series with a bunch of men racing for fun and not worried about that she had an average finish of 6.33 and never finished last. She really showed her skills finishing second to Tony Stewart at Eldora. If Tony hadn't been in the race she would have won handily.
She may have better luck in Xfinity, the field tends to be a bit more "mature" and she will not be racing with as many little boys.

Her 1 start in Xfinity was in a mid pack at best car and I believe she finished 15th on the lead lap? Xfinity is low downforce, at every track. Cup and Truggs have much more downforce. She hasn't done half bad in SRX, and that's essentially a car that has basically no functional downforce.

Thoughts about Hocevar? I'm pretty confident he's gonna jump straight to Cup next year, not sure it's the best career move but LMC let him stick around and honestly he brought better results than the racist meme liking Xfinity champ.

Sheldon Creed will not be driving the #2 Richard Childress car in Xfinity next year. There was no indication if this was Creed's wish or Childress' wish. There are a lot of rumors that Almendinger is out at Koulige racing. Could Creed be heading to the #16 Cup car? frontstretch.com/2023/10/11/sheldon-creed-out-at-rcr-after-season/

Well it seems sort of funny to me that if the template was bad, why weren't more cars disqualified? Don't get me wrong, I am happy for Blaney, but it is a head scratcher.

And how did the template get accepted in the first place?
