Guys - you know I'm a genius. The clear answer is for Hamilton to go to Aston Martin and Stroll to be George Russell's rear gunner. I'll be here all week.

^^ Apparently Jonathan Noble is a lulu parrot. So the whole jist of the article was lulu has never seen a car so dominant as this years redbull was to much. All the comments drilled him and the article. Pointing out how back in 2014 / 2016 the merc was so dominant that merc turned down the lump. Lulu was saying that to get the FIA to intervene and slow em down this year as his car is a sled. Like last year with the bouncing thing over the summer break. Well that one back fired.

If they're dominant the FIA will eventually slow them down.........................it's traditional.

I haven't read the full article but that's what I figured. I rarely read anything more than the quotes these days, because the rest is garbage and the quotes are the only things that matter. Noble is generally pretty good, but most of the Brit F1 press have a real blind spot when it comes to Lewis. And yeah, Lewis's, George's, and The Torger's wailing lately has been hilarious, begging the FIA to slow the big, bad, mean RBR, as if the Merc dominance we all saw was just a figment of our imaginations.

In the ' slums' of Stevenage. LOL. Don't forget that part. And the racism. And the beatings. And the 'poverty'. Poor, poor Lewis.

Weren't others whining to slow down the Mercs back in the day? I guess most teams dislike another team being the dominant one.

Weren't others whining to slow down the Mercs back in the day? I guess most teams dislike another team being the dominant one. Sure, but it wasn't as quick as this has been, and I don't remember it coming from drivers, etc. And the Merc fans always just said "Fix your car, and there won't be a problem", which is what Horner told the Torger last year in that meeting. To be clear, I think it's hilarious whenever anyone cries about another team being too quick and starts lobbying to slow them down, but it's especially funny when it's coming from a team who just recently won 7 straight championships, most of them in quite dominant fashion. And now the fans are throwing out wild, speculative theories such as the team purposefully slowing Lewis's car but not George's, in an attempt to force him out. Some say this is being done to make room for, get this, Mick. They say there's no other explanation for George beating Lewis so often. LLLLLOL. Oh, there's another explanation, all right.

People also think there is a pedo ring operating out of the basement of a pizza joint in DC. There are always fringe commenters. I, too, think it is funny when teams complain, though typically it is a prelude to getting the FIA to check for cheating. We have seen that many times when a team adds a new bit or shows a sharp increase in performance.

Oh, and also most of the complaints against Mercedes were not attempts to slow them down or calls for sharing of designs like we're seeing now, but rather they mostly centered around freeing up the super-restrictive token system. All most people wanted then was the chance to improve their PU without restrictions so severely entrenching the Merc advantage. And don't forget the engine modes Merc weren't sharing with customers, basically guaranteeing an uneven playing field. It's a very different situation now, with much better engine parity and the slower teams generally being allowed more wind tunnel time, etc.

Sure, in two years they may not be so dominant, but this year I'd be surprised if anyone can catch up.
